I am looking into buying a mini excavator. To give you an idea, we live on a 30 acre property in rural Ontario Canada. We have our own winding driveway and have no neighbours nearby.
We have a wood furnace and cut our own wood for the long winters and we have the tools to tackle this chore, a splitter, chipper, trailer etc..
I have made about 5 km trails which we use for our daily hikes. The area is hilly and the ground has lots of rocks.
All in all I think I will be able to put an excavator into good use. Landscaping, trail maintenance, the driveway needs gravel and it could assist me when cutting wood and getting things ready for a new season.
I’ve been looking a used brand name machine but have had no luck. I’ve also considered some other Chinese brands like Rippa but I think the Huayee SHY15 is the best candidate without braking the bank.
I found this website: https://www.huayeeca.com/ It all seems legit but I am hesitant to fork over the money and buy a machine online unseen. It seems they offer free shipping from a Canadian warehouse.
I could use some advice. Have others used this website? Would you order online? What are my other options etc..
