Gold’s Gym Golden-I- Safe to Join or Another Gym Membership Scam?
There’s a gym at Golden-i Market where the newly opened Gold’s Gym has shifted its Blue Sapphire branch. They have opened the gym in the same place where a gym called FIT STAR was previously operating.
The reason I’m a little cautious is because FIT STAR ended up shutting down after creating a huge mess for its members. From what I heard and personally experienced, the owners had poor financial planning and were unable to properly manage the facility. This caused a lot of inconvenience, financial loss, and mental stress for many members, including me 😅
I’ve spoken to several former members who had taken memberships there, and honestly, most people could not do much legally. Working professionals usually don’t want to get involved in long legal disputes over gym memberships, and unfortunately, some gym owners seem to take advantage of that reality.
So now I genuinely want to ask people here about their experience with Gold’s Gym memberships or any other gym memberships in general.
Have you ever faced a situation where a gym suddenly shut down, failed to provide promised services, or caused issues after taking membership fees?
Do you think taking a membership at this newly shifted Gold’s Gym branch here in Golden-i Market is safe and worth it?
