Benelli Supernova Issue
I just recieved my brand new Benelli Supernova. I tried to cycle it with some snap caps, and initially it would not feed any of the rounds out of the tube. I decided maybe I needed to pump it with more force. When I pump it hard, it will cycle a round, but the gun locks up with the pump all the way back and the chamber open. I need to use 2 hands and push the barrel into the floor to get the chamber to close.
I read that it could be due to using an aftermarket tube extension. However, even when I took the spring completely out (as can be seen in the photo) AND loosened the extension significantly, the gun still locks up when pumped with any significant force. Pumping it slowly does not seem to cause any issues with it locking up.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
SOLVED! Heat Shield getting pinched and preventing cycling when lightly pumped
