I’ve had the arc pro b50 for about a month now and it is a great little card. Works well for what I need and has a lot of pros. Aside from the lack of undervolting capabilities on seemingly any of my arc cards, my only issue with this thing has been fan control. Why on earth is this not an option in IGS for the pro b50? Do any of you have this capability? If it just the pro b50, or is it also other arc pro cards? My other arc cards all have fan controls.
I kind of got around it by using the arc plugin with the fan control app, and also by using acer predator bifrost software to set a constant, higher rpm, but it is pretty spotty and has reset itself several times, particularly with a custom curve rather than a flat RPM. I prefer not to use zero rpm mode, and for whatever reason the fan doesn’t ever seem to go above 50-60% speed on the default settings. If it actually sped up enough to keep the card below 90° when pushed hard at default settings, I wouldn’t mind so much, but it doesn’t do that. I have tried several different drivers, but found nothing.
