What's the best Nu Trek show (as a series) in your opinion, and why?

I'm nearly finished re-re-re-watching DS9, which narrowly beats TNG for my favourite Trek series. (I like it more as a series, but prefer TNG for cherry-picking episodes.) TOS/TAS is a noble third place, then way below them are Voyager and Enterprise fighting at the bottom. Voyager felt like a risk-averse retread of TNG despite an intriguing original premise, whereas Enterprise was a fascinating car crash at times. I've also seen the first season of Discovery but never felt invested enough in the characters to return for season 2; it's too Bryan Fullery for me, to put it succinctly.

Anyway, I've decided to watch Lower Decks next, having heard that's it's surprisingly okay, perhaps even enjoyable; not a genre-transcending masterpiece of writing, but fun. What little I've heard about all of the other series, however, sounds like damning with faint praise. All reviews of Starfleet Academy, Picard, and SNW seem to say "I don't care that everyone else hates it; I like it!" Every series has its haters, but acknowledging them seems to be mandatory for liking Nu Trek, which seems like a red flag on story-telling.

So... if you like Nu Trek, why? What's your favourite? Which series should I watch next? (Please try to keep spoilers to a minimum.)

LLAP!
