I copped that high quality Kief for just five euros from the guys near my place. They were actually really cool and told me to stay focused on my studies and not let this stuff take over. I should’ve taken them more seriously because as soon as I smoked it I was in another world.
I had to walk thirty minutes to the mall with this girl and it felt like I was living in a movie. The colors were incredibly bright and everything looked sharp but strange. I kept trying to pull myself back to reality but it only worked for a couple of seconds before I drifted off again. Every step felt like I was moving through a dream where the pavement was glowing.
The most intense part wasn't the visuals though. It was what I realized about her. We spent five hours together and for the first time I saw things clearly. I realized I was only with her because I felt like I had to be. There was no chemistry and no real connection. I looked at her and finally admitted to myself that I’m not even that into her. I asked myself why I was lying to everyone.
By the time I reached the mall I was completely drained. I hadn't had a drop of water the whole way and my throat felt like it was on fire. I was starving so I destroyed a huge burger and three packs of cookies and drank about three liters of soda and water.
Once I finished eating the movie ended. The vibrant colors disappeared and the world just turned gray. I sat there watching people walk by and feeling like a ghost. I realized that for just five euros the high had forced me to face a truth I’d been avoiding for a long time.
