No matter how much I learn about this, I will never understand the constant irrationality, particularly when it punctuates otherwise moments of lucidity.

Wife invited me to help her and the kids take the train even though I was “off” duty and it was her turn. I drove them to train station, we had a plan to meet at a certain stop. I get there. She’s not there. She sends me location. One stop down. “Driver” (conductor I’m assuming) “convinced us to go this stop.” I have trouble getting there. Suddenly it’s “you weren’t here when we got here and now you’re ruining our trip.” I press. Her: “I don’t know train stops! I told you that. I told you I just decide what stop to get off when I get there. You ruined this. Let’s just move past it.”

Everytime. Take a self contradictory and irrational stance, it becomes evident, insistence on a lack of any accountability and let’s just “move on.”
