As the title suggests, I will be 20 years old whenever i reach my goal of $10k in my savings account.
Currently I am 19 (almost 20) and in a position that i hated for a while but am now starting to see how blessed i am. i am working a full time job and my income is about $24k yearly, which isnt insane but for someone not paying rent or car payments at my age its amazing. I’m not making this to boast my situation, im just wondering what would someone even do with $10,000?
I’ve read about Roth IRA, i am eligible for a 401k at 6%, i know next to nothing about stocks.
My goal is to not go back to ground zero after I hit this goal. I’ve considered buying expensive music equipment or even production equipment to create content, or even travel to a country and experience life in the most free way i can in that tax bracket. I’m just lost on how to do this the right way, powerfully, intentional, and smart.
