Maybe I'm reading too much into it as in general Araki has made guns in the new continuity feel much more dangerous but with the new chapter showing how Jodio nearly died from a gunshot in the past it makes much more sense why he was so scared fighting Bobby. The dude learned the hard way how easy a gun can kill him so he doesn't want to take anymore chances when dealing with them.

For the most part these changes were for the better (Would've loved to see traitor Fugo) I understand why Araki made the decisions but it is interesting thinking about how different some of these parts could've turned out especially with part 6's ending being changed last minute like if the universe reset was part of that last minute change how were things going to end before?

I hope at some point he talks about scrapped ideas he had for part 7&8 as they likely had tons of changes along the way with how long they are.
