Additional Context: I am upgrading and making a whole new build, a 9950X3D, 4090 Suprim X, 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal 7200mhz build to be exact. I just picked up my CPU a couple days ago thanks to the Amazon flash sale, and the GPU I got a few weeks ago on eBay. My current build that I've been having issues with is a Intel i7 10700K, 4070 Ti Ventus 3X OC, and 32GB G.Skill Trident Z, with a ASUS Z490-P, which I have had problems with alot on bootups reading a CPU overheating error. It has happened for years, and sometimes on multiple bootups in a row it would have this error. So ASUS has kind of put me off just because of that alone. The only reason I may go back to ASUS is because the Strix line up is a better motherboard overall.

However I been seeing a lot of builds recommend the MSi MPG X870E Carbon Wifi because of the 5 M.2 Slots it has, the overclocking capability, and some argue it's better looking than the Strix X870E-E. And some had to return theirs because of USB slots, M.2s aside, which one should I go with? They are rated by users almost exactly the same, but the MSi X870E is on sale and I'm trying to make some money today to get it before it goes off sale, but if the Strix on paper is better I can shell the extra money to get it. I'm really not trying to go over $400 on a motherboard before taxes.

All that’s left now is the motherboard, 1200w PSU, Lian Li case, Lian Li fans and the 360 AIO and I can finally not upgrade again for the next 10 years.
