Pie ETF Overhaul

My main pie is currently 90/10 VWCE and EGLN, although EGLN is only around 7% of my total portfolio overall.

Lately I’ve been questioning whether keeping gold long term really makes sense for me or if I’d be better off moving that allocation into something more growth focused like SMH or maybe WRNW.

I get the point of gold for diversification/safety, but with a long time horizon part of me feels like it could just end up lagging behind for years while sectors like semis grow way more.

At the same time I don’t wanna just performance chase or make a dumb emotional switch because gold’s been kinda the safe option.

Most of the “riskier” side of my portfolio is already covered by individual stocks anyway, so this would mainly be about improving long-term growth while still keeping the core portfolio relatively stable.

What would you guys do?
Keep EGLN, reduce it, or swap it completely?
