Help - PC Games on SD CRT (JVC AV-32260)

Hello Folks!

I would like to preface this by saying that I am really new to the CRT space, so please forgive any misinformation or incorrect terminology used on my end.

I just recently picked up this set locally from Facebook Marketplace. My current goal is to hook up an old Dell Optiplex that I have to play some old school PC games on (Diablo, Fallout, Baldur's Gate, etc.) in addition to some retro consoles. The initial pitfall that I have a feeling I will run into is that of the resolution difference between the games native resolution and the resolution of the CRT, which I believe to be 480i or 240p on this set.

I would love some input on what would be the best way to get something like this to work on this TV and/or if it is even feasible. I am sure utilizing a computer monitor from that era would be easier, but I would like to work with what I have if at all possible.

If it helps any the Optiplex that I have outputs VGA and I was planning to convert that to component; as this set supports Composite, S-Video, Component as far as I am aware.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide!

For anyone who played or still plays LoD (or prior to that), I am curious what makes it special for you and your thoughts when comparing to Resurrected.

I remember playing my dad’s Lord of Destruction copy when I was a kid, but was too young to really soak it all in. So, I wanted some more insight as to what it’s like for everyone else, as most of my D2 experience has been with Resurrected.

Thanks in advance!
