Morillo's Loft Pigeon found in SE LA.
I found a bird with a tag that says Morillo's Loft 2025.
He's extremely calm and seems well trained and awfully trusting.
I was out working in the garden and my girlfriend spotted this pigeon behind me perched on the bed of our truck. He let me walk arround him at a distance and then hopped onto the table when I put some water down for him. After this my dog took an interest in him and started parking, it didn't fly away. I was able to catch it and put him in a large dog cage. I've put the cage outside in the back where we have some shade for him. I've got a seed mix coming in an Uber Eats delivery for him 😅
I'll keep an eye on him to see how his left leg is in the morning. He seems to be dragging it a bit.
Anyone know if there's a listing for this bird or maybe a Morillo's Loft social media?

Full transparency, we would like to get it back to the owner, but will adopt if it's condition isn't better or we can't find the owner. We're aware it will likely fly home once it's healed up.
