Looking for someone to do book annotations with and help me break my reading slump
So I'm looking for someone who's willing to do the traveling book annotation thing with me. I'm a big horror mystery thriller fan with the occasional fantasy an example of books I've read that are my favorite is:
The invisible life of Addie LaRue
The year of the witching
I, Medusa
Kaikeyi
Circe
Phantasma
I feed her to the beast and the beast is me
Books I'm currently reading:
Children of blood and Bone
Dark sisters
First time caller (I'm currently in denial about how much I like rom-coms lol)
Books that are currently on my TBR:
The haunting of paynes Hollow
The possession of Alba Diaz
The Wicked
I'm open to just about any genre but I will say I'm not a huge fan of dark romance that includes non-consensual or overly violent interconnections between characters. I'm not against Gothic romance or other forms of dark romance I am kind of naive when it does come to dark romance so I don't know a lot of titles. I'm also not a huge fan of exaggerated smut. My preferred spicy level of a book would be an example of Phantasma. Just the right amount of graphic detail with a solid storyline to go with it 👌🏾👌🏾
What I'm looking for in a buddy or buddies:
Someone who doesn't mind writing and annotating on the pages using sticky notes sharing Doodles in the chapters. Doesn't mind a book having broken spines because as much as I love a perfect hard copy there's something satisfying about a broken end paperback that just gives my body Goosebumps 😩😩😂. I'd like for us all to choose different books and not all read the same book. I think that would really help me broaden my view of authors and genres.
