While walking around the inner harbor and downtown last night I saw a girl wearing a shirt that said ‘I hate darkskins.’ It was clearly made at home, bring a white Tshirt written on with sharpie. She was a linger black girl, probably older high school age with a couple friends. It was a confusing shirt to me because she wasn’t particularly light skinned for a black person. About 3 blocks later I saw another girl wearing the same, made at home shirt with the same message on it.
Does anyone know the meaning behind these shirts?
