Hello all! I (24f) have always been a picky eater. Pizza, chicken, pasta, fries, etc. no fruits or vegetables. I’ve become really frustrated with this over the past year as I really want to be healthier and I know this is bad for me in the long run. I struggle with food as a whole. I wish I could have the food pill they take in The Giver and skip food entirely sometimes as I get sick of what I eat but am scared of anything new. New textures and flavors scare me to the point that I’m panicking when I attempt to try a new food, which makes me feel silly. I tried to see a dietician, but she told me that I need to work on the mental block I have, so I am working with my therapist to try new things and get over my genuine fear of new food.

Does anyone have any advice on things I can eat/drink/add to food to supplement my poor diet right now? I feel discouraged especially when I’m being active then go home and eat the same brown crunchy food I always do.

Thank you!
