For starters, why is it 3.67 eur instead of 3 EUR? I was under the impression that the new EU regulation was but an extra 3 eur per each category. Instead, be prepared to actually pay 3+ eur for two usb sticks (same category) just because they belong to different sellers. They must be sloppily overcorrecting just in case as a sign of submission to the new regulations, or something along these lines. Ali Express would often package stuff together and it used to rarely even declare what was in the parcel, right ? Then why do they act like they must spring the new tax on anything so randomly ? Am I being overdramatic or is this downright apocalyptic for Ali's business in Europe ? The most egregious part for me, though, is that they're shifting the onus to go through the trouble by having us check that the duty we paid actually reflects the state of what we got in the mail. What about all those people who might not even be savvy enough to tell if they're entitled to refund? They just paid money they didn't owe the platform, I guess.
