What was your headcanon theories about the orgin of the titans before the discovery of Grishas journal and the truth of the past?

With how all over the place the plot and all of its epic twists and turning points i honstley had no clue what to even thing. So what were u thinking that could've possibly made sense?

How do you think our modren world military would handle against the rumbling?

My guess is that it would just be a barrage of tsar bombs. But even then the nuclear fallout from it would do god knows how much after math damage. And drone strikes are great, but the sheer amount of titans that are there is beyond their capabilities
