Said bye bye to my trusty and beloved MK7.5 and welcomed a new MK8.5!
This break in period is brutal…
As expected, I hate the lack of buttons/switches, and the excessive piano black (steering wheel and center console). But I think I’ll get used to it….
So far, it’s been just as fun as the blueberry - even with limited throttle.
First mod done - I swapped out the low profile rear headrests out of the MK7.5 into the MK8.5. It doesn’t have the blue sides but that’s fine. I prefer the better visibility. Next up is PPF and ceramic tinting. Ordered a drill less front plate holder too.
Any recommendations for other mods? I considered getting some matte badge skins for the center console but I don’t think I’ll do a good job so probably won’t try that.
