So starting I had this girlfriend her name was Rebecca P. Initially we had run into a problem with her being explicit with 15 year old boys which she lied about at the time and I didn’t know. We had that issue and eventually ended up resolving it. Fast forward I found out there is someone she has an interest at at work. Turns out he’s British book narrator Shaun Grindell. I didn’t realize it at the time but technically she was already talking to someone before poly started. Red flag I know I was dumb and in love We talked about it poly and considered it. She lied to me and told me he was dying from a brain tumor trying to guilt trip me into it and it worked. Over time she basically lied to me about the stuff they were doing, we had boundaries that were set and she violated, and at the end of it I was shown no love or compassion. He lied to his wife and had an affair with my girlfriend at the time she was fully aware. Is there a way to realize poly can still be good because now I feel like I’ll just discarded. I don’t mind sharing but this experience was just horrible. I’m finding out about these lies years later. She’s really not doing too good for herself and is struggling. I feel bad but I’m glad she is. Is there any hope I could possible like poly again ?
