I took the kilt to the fair and all I got was bad pics

I promised some pics of the fair; $2 Tuesdays are the best. I am going to say is that kilt and the white polo will never going on a date again. Tomorrow it going to be green; let's hope for better.

If you are here to criticize the kilt, or say anything negative about how I wore it, I suggest you see my previous post and research the Continue Kilt before you say anything, please. Let those who have ears, hear.

My Continue kilt is here

Got it from UT kilts and I love it. I'll be wearing it to the fair today (It is discount day), without a belt. Yes, without a belt. There's a reason why I bought this kilt; my family is incomplete, so will the kilt.

His name was Michael and he was amazing, brilliant, a rock star. I reached out to his widow and asked her if she had one of his belts, because this thing will always be worn with one of his belts, if we can find one, nothing else will do until then.

Sorry, I am emotional and angry. I should have never had a reason to buy this kilt.

Y'all have a great day.

How did I do? Part 3.

Hi all.

Y'all know who I am, I just created this dedicated account for the kilts communities. I was inspired by the professional-level shade that u/YessirIcanbussy threw at the pixelated face. I usually do not post my face online, but I felt comfortable here, even with the snobs that are around. Also, thank you to u/Greenman_Dave for pointing out my kilts are a little long, I ordered my 3rd one and this time I ordered at what I think it the right length.

So here are some pics from my hub's high school reunion that you guys saw plus some others that I have taken to share, so you guys get to see how I like to style my kilts. Last picture is a little non traditional experiment. I am experimenting with using semi-precious stones that have some weight as kilt pins. Next is going to be brooches. I am looking for a good Art Deco and an Art Nouveau.

I think I might then move to something bolder like 80s brooches and I might even add some that remind me of one of my passions: Opera. I have already identified one that reminds me of Grane and another one that reminds me of one of the Rheinmadens.

I am actually thinking about broockes with a message like "Love is Love" and others. there is a gentleman in IL who makes them, and the Love is love would go very well with my pride kilt.

Have at it boys, but, if you open up the library, be warned that I follow the gospel according to St. Alysa: "I don't get cute, I get drop dead gorgeous."

Continue Tartan question

Hello all:

I am relatively new to kilts. My first one I bought a year ago and it was the pride kilt. I have since bought a cheap Royal Stewart one and I am waiting on another one I just had made.

I learned about the continue tartan yesterday and let's just say May 19th 2019 is a day I would rather forget. I think it is fair to say this tartan now has a very personal meaning. Now, as I look for a company to make one for me (I learned that the one on sale by a US company is not the best quality) I am noticing some color differences, specially on the teal, but I am not sure whether it is my screen or whether it is actual. I guess the question is if you know is there is an actual specification for the shade of teal and where could I go to have one made as inexpensively as possible.

Thank you all for any help and direction

[edit/update]

I just heard from Mr. Wilson and he confirmed the kilt has no restrictions.
