Toxic Culture in Season 13
I have not yet watched final vows for season 13 as it hasn’t aired yet in the uk but so far I have been appalled by the behaviour of the women whilst watching this series so far.
There are a lot of emotionally intelligent, sensitive men in this series who are being bullied and downtrodden by the women. Given that the number one cause of death in Australia for young men is suicide, I find it disgusting how many women think it’s ok to call a man weak for expressing his feelings and showing emotion.
So far Luke, Scott, Grayson, David, Sam, Joel have shown respect and sensitivity towards their partners only to be called names, put down and manipulated consistently. Even Chris turned out to have more self awareness and emotional maturity than his wife. The only giant red flag in my eyes is Danny.
Thank god for Stella and Rachel for flying the flag for decent women of which are few and far between on this series.
