So often we see people with fictives from certain franchises or sources feel bad because of their source, and sometimes we feel like it too. In fact, we have quite the history with these emotions too (especially as a system with numerous Hellaverse sysmates).
I feel like this atmosphere of negativity around sources has mostly been propagated by sysmedicalism, anti-endos, and a general feeling of self-doubt that is instilled on the system community that I'm frankly sick and tired of. (I am not endorsing bad creators of sources, for the record.)
I just want people to feel better about their own identities, our system included, and not have to feel like being a fictive is a bad or "cringe" thing to be. So to all the fictives out there, keep being yourself. People will accept you.
