Like many of you I am bracing for a substantial monthly payment increase. My recertification date in my letter is 05/27. My next payment due date is 05/16 with a much lower monthly payment.

Can I wait until after 05/16 to recertify? I will be switching from ICR to PAYE. Thank you!
