Hi all.

So typically this year has been blighted by bad luck and my wife having health issues. So what else could go wrong eh?

Well riding back from a bike meet with my daughter as pillion so riding to the speed limits as wife was checking Life360 on me! And I could hear an unusual ticking noise ( not the usual CP4 tick) gets louder, so nurse her home gently and now hearing a knock noise.

Drained the engine oil and theres clear signs of glitter in the oil.

Bike only has 2200miles on her due to work commitments I dont get out much. Serviced yearly regardless.

Has anyone had the same issue? Having caught it early what's the chances my crank are ok?

Will I get away with just re shelling big ends?
