Damage after 2 rides on Community path
Ive had to wait out a storm in my area since receiving the Wave V2 and today was my second chance to ride it. I was just riding on a community path by my house. Well paved but does have a rumble strip when approaching the street. When I brought the board upstairs to my apartment there is this big area scrapped of of the plastic by the trucks and the pulleys.
Its feels like this is unpreventable and is going to quickly create a real problem if it just happens a couple more times? Should I just never be using the back of the board to turn it around? I have one done this when the motor is not running to lightly reposition it. Seems silly to feature that one the board if this is the case. Is it the rumble strip on the community path? Is it because I went off a tiny curb? I really dunno and was riding super carefully so Im kind of bummed with the decision to use soft plastic here. Isnt this just going to quickly break from careful use?
What should I do differently? Should I be worried about this?
