Hi! As the title suggest, I get that error... and I know why it is, mechanical failure, and I need help finding a throttle body.. Mostly because in my country seemingly in my city no junkyard has it or any e46 with the engine m52tub25 and trying to buy a new one I only get an option from maxgear or something along that name. I don't really want to get anything other than similar to OEM parts because I know that it's a bad idea to go offbrand.

The help I ask, if anyone is willing, I'd appreciate it a lot is if you can find a throttle body, I've been searching for maybe 2-3 months and I managed to snag something for 55 euro on ebay, but it turns out to be a TB for e39's m52b25 which might not fit at all, or if it does it might have some conflicts.

Another option I had, was to buy new from some tuning guys in america but they legit asked for 800 dollars and... that's kinda 80% of my monthly wage, while I could definitely wait for 4-5 months and gather, I don't think that it would be really worth it's money. Thing is, while I've learnt to "drive around" the problem, because it only happens at about 20-25% throttle (basically I have to drive either super smooth or full on acceleration, otherwise I get EML error again), recently my idle on the car has been pretty hectic. From the normal 700 to jumping to 1000 falling to 800 jumping back to 1000 then to 700 and cycling through in a matter of seconds... I'm kinda starting to get worried and unwilling to drive until I fix this issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and I'll keep searching.

Edit 1: forgot to add the detail that whenever EML comes up I get hard limp, literally you could floor the pedal and the car only goes to 2000, like a jolt then comes back down to 1100. You can keep it pressed and it would keep jolting, so it's not soft limp mode, it's a hard one, literally not even allowing me to make the car move. I'd have to force the gears which obviously is REALLY bad

Edit 2: My engine is not m43b19, it's m52tub25 from the 323i series.
