I'm not sure if my data back works.

I bought an X700 with a data back. The seller said that the data back has not been tested, but the power turns on. However, I'm not sure if it will actually work when taking photos on film.

How do you think x700+MC lens

I have only x700 body. So I have to buy a lens.

I know X700's lens is MD. But it's little expensive and not my style.

I want to buy a MC lens, and combine with x700.

What i wonder is x700's "p mode" is very important function?(Because MC lens don't support p mode)

MC Rokkor 58mm f1.4 - click balls and springs fell out during disassembly 😭

I was disassembling the mount area of my MC Rokkor 58mm f1.4 and suddenly some tiny steel balls and 5 curved wire springs popped out like in the photo...

I searched my room as thoroughly as I could and found all 5 springs and some balls, but I'm not 100% sure if I got all of them.

I reassembled the lens without these parts, and now the aperture ring has no click feeling at all, and the lens feels loose and rattly (I think this is because I forgot to reinstall the springs).

My question is — is the helicoid damaged? Or is this just a click ball/spring assembly issue?

Please don't roast me 😭

I know I'm a complete beginner and I fully realize what a mistake I made. I'm already regretting this more than you can imagine 😭😭

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
