Malachite blue and shrimps
Hello!! I have been treating in a hospital tank with malachite blue(no green sorry lol), but I put my fish's little floating bed in there because he needed it lol he loves it and I knew it would help reduce his stress if he had somewhere nice to rest. Now portions of it are stained blue, not a problem for me. But I am worried about transferring it back into the main tank because I know malachite blue is toxic to shrimp and snails, the tank has both. I am already planning to keep him in the hospital tank with just plain water for 2 days before putting him back into the main tank, will that be enough time to filter out any toxins to the shrimps in the bed as well? Thanks if anyone has any insight for this odd question 😂
