As the title said I watched that tournament and... Oh, dear. Only 2 people managed to survive the First Stage, and neither of them got past the Salmon Ladder in the Second Stage.

Easily the worst tournament in SASUKE history.

The Mercuria Empire, led by Barbaric Emperor Dorakkon, has arrived on Earth with the sole purpose of conquering the planet to satisfy his desires. Thankfully, Merina, a being from the planet Tensei, has also arrived and chosen 5 worthy individuals to become the Tenseigers in order to combat this new threat.

Hero Characters:

TenseiRed - Ayami Kazafumi, a 19-year-old college student from Hiroshima. She is known as a respectable leader who, despite her playful personality, cares for her teammates and wants to bring out the best in them.

TenseiBlue - Kōji Furutachi, a 23-year-old stay-at-home caretaker from Yokohama. He cares deeply for his family back home and wants to do his best for their sake.

TenseiGreen - Retsu Takaichi, a 21-year-old medic from Tokyo. His knowledge of first aid and emergency care is a very unique advantage against the forces of Mercuria.

TenseiYellow - Tōri Sakayama, a 22-year-old actor from Nagoya. He can be somewhat of a jokester, but deep down, he doesn't flinch when it comes to what is best for his team.

TenseiPink: Sakura Michioka, a 20-year-old aspiring musician from Miyazaki. A shy, calm young woman, she swears to do her best for the sake of the team.

TenseiSpark: Daiji Mikazaki, a 24-year-old photographer from Tokyo. Joining the cast later in the series, he proves to be a valuable ally to the Tenseigers.

Non-Tenseiger hero characters:

Merina - Hailing from the planet Tensei, which was one of the first planets invaded by the Mercuria Empire. Although both she and her planet survived, she wants to ensure that nothing like that happens anywhere else.

Yuuji - Merina's assistant, a small bear-like being who aids the Tenseigers by providing critical mission information.

Mercuria Empire:

Barbaric Emperor Dorakkon - A blood-thirsty, twisted and egomaniacal tyrant who believes conquest of other worlds is the only way to satisfy his desires.

Barbaric Prince Makari - Dorakkon's son and heir to the Mercurian throne. He shares similar desires to his father, and aids him in his many conquests.

Mercurian Princess Lekora - A loyal follower of Dorakkon, she will not rest until she ensures the universe falls under his rule.
