Anyone actually got paid for referring people? I have a friend that actually got onboarded this week and been earning through my referral, but my referral tracker is just sitting on "signed up" mark.

Im trying to join and apply to the expert position in Handshake. For some reason, after I clicked sign up, it directed me to the account portal where there are only 7 positions available. And those are all completely different than the listed expert positions.
Are expert applications actually unavailable at handshake??
