Sony A7CII: Banding but there's a twist.

Sony A7CII: Banding but there's a twist.

The banding took place at higher ISOs even with the mechanical shutter enabled and silent mode turned off. This is at ISO 3200 (SOOC) and it appeared in most of my outdoor night photos at higher ISOs. Is the elevated ISO the culprit? What do you think?

Kind of into headphones.

Anybody else here obsessed with portable audio like I am? Up to this day, I still have dedicated mp3 players to listen to my music with just to make the music sound oh so much sweeter. My setup journey through the years has evolved from bigger, full-sized headphones to mostly iems (earbuds) now. I solely use iems at the moment because they're less intrusive and don't make me look like an alien in public. All of these were taken with various Sony cameras I own or have owned including the A6700, A6500 and the A7III. Love doing still-life photography of my gear, myself.

From The Streets of San Francisco.

Candid, spontaneous shots I took in California a few years ago. All shot with the Sony A6600 and the infamous Sigma 18-50/2.8. I actually sold both and I've since upgraded to the Sony A6700 which is better than the A6600 in almost every conceivable way. And then recently, I repurchased the Sigma 18-50/2.8. Overall, a light, compact combination that just begs to be taken everywhere.

PS5 PRO/ XBOX Series X Gaming Setup.

A setup I'm kind of proud of.

- Asus 32' 4k OLED (X32UCWG) True Black Glossy Monitor

- PS5 PRO

- Midnight black Dualsense Edge

- XBOX Series X

- XBOX Elite 2 Controller

- Creative Pebble Plus Speakers (w/ subwoofer)

---Asus Laptop Specs: (Vivobook S16)

-- 3k Oled Display

-- AMD Ryzen AI 7 CPU

--24GB Ram

-- 1TB SSD Storage

Also have a 4K Fire Stick Max attached to the monitor for it to have streaming capabilities. Not pictured but my TV is a 42' LG OLED C4. As you can see, I'm a sucker for OLEDs. I game solely on the monitor and the PS5 Pro though, as I find that competitive gaming (Battlefield 6) is more surmountable on a smaller display.
