How should I get started in the audiophile world with a $100 budget?

I have around $100 to spend on headphones/IEMs (not including a DAC if one is necessary), but I'm not sure whether I should go for an IEM or an over-ear headphone.

I've had some problems with Bluetooth earbuds before, mainly fit issues and itchiness, so I'm a little hesitant to buy an iem. I've used over-ear headphones before and really liked how they felt and sounded. I found them comfortable, lightweight, and they had a nice "professional" feel to them, if that makes sense.

I'm looking for something that's a good all-rounder for music and gaming.

English isn't my first language, so i used chatgpt.
