Dogs Sudden Muscle Weakness
My Dog: 8 year old super mutt, has SLO and is on pentoxifylline along with some vitamins and fish oil for treatment
I got home from work and was bringing my dog out for his walk, we got 50 feet down the hall to the elevator when all of a sudden his legs started to give out, not a full collapse but he began to wobble and stumble. I went to grab him and his heart was racing incredibly fast. At this point he was fully on the ground but still awake and alert. I carried him into the elevator and got him outside, laid him in the grass for a moment and within a few seconds he was up and walking around like normal. No signs of whatever just happened. Did a small short walk to make sure he was ok and then brought him back inside where he seems fine. Idk what just happened but if anyone can help and let me know if he needs to go the emergency clinic or could potentially wait until tomorrow?
