Found my old Stash after 15-20 years.

Randomly stumbled upon a YouTube video that popped up on my home feed about "Lord of the Rings SBG", since i had recently bought "Lord of the Rings the card game (LCG), i thought it had something to do with that...

i was pretty shocked that the "Games Workshop" LOTR minitures were still a thing. I used to paint these things back in middle school (feels like 20 years ago now almost), I then proceeded to watch nonstop for hours about the game.

Found my old stash... which probably hasn't been touched in around 15+ years.... sadly when i left my parents place, my mom had just dumped them all into a shoebox... ALthough my painting skills were pretty terrible for a middle/high schooler (Especially the plastic stuff, i always struggled painting those), alot of them are still in decent shape (Some of the cheap plastic ones are missing swords/spears, etc though).

All the Hero's are Metal, (Fellowship, Boromir, Gamling, etc), as well as the Easterlings, fountain court guards, Elves. Everything else plastic (Rohan, Gondor, Goblins, Urakhai, harad, orcs)

I doubt i'd be able to find anyone withing a 500 mile radius of me who also plays, closest area being Denver (300-400 miles), but if i did want to start over, is there a good way to remove the paint that has "Gloss"? I figured hot soapy water, but no idea honestly.

I really don't know the first thing about this game anymore... i had the original guides, but haven't been able to find them in all my old junk :(. Not like I ever played in the first place, didn't know a single other person who played back in the day, but i loved painting them.

I think I could probably build a Rohan army, although ive always loved the Gondor aesthetic... and those "Dol Amroth" guys look cool... id be interested in picking those up.
