Any updates with gameplay footage?

In the last video we saw some rough gameplay footage, which was uncommented, though.

Now, after the annoucement of the delay, when are you guys planning on showing a little something of what you are working on? No matter how rough the stuff looks, just a bit of gameplay with some comments on what we are seeing (like the dev log from early 2026).

Modding advice needed (which game version, which mods for random events, etc.)

I have not played GTA V in years and am trying to get back in, so I installed the enhanced version. The world is pretty uninteresting, though (compared to newer games - in terms of random events and other things happening, making the world feel alive and/or reactive).

So I searched the net and only found one mod which seemingly deals with the "empty" world and thats "World of Variety". The latest version is paywalled, though, and the old version is only available for the legacy game.

So here comes the question:

I dont care that much about graphics, I care more about a lively world in which you can do stuff, interact with NPCs, spend your hard-earned dollars on things, etc. - so with that premise, which game version should I choose and which freely available mods could I install?

Any advice is highly appreciated.

EA delayed. Good!

OLG just released the information about the Early Access delay.

A very good decision, in my opinion. Take all the time you need, dont rush, dont crunch (if that is even possible on a voluntary basis), dont stress.

We want this game to be good rather than having it soon. As long as we get those wayward radio episodes and dev interviews, the hype wont die :D

And please dont name any new dates. Just keep us updated with regular devlogs.

Did Kai really leave the team?

I just watched a 13min video by Jack, the lost lore scholar and he mentioned the technical director stepping away from the project.

I remember Kai, the technical director, talking about "physical" world building (how many mills would be needed to feed people in a certain vicinity, etc.) and also about the technical aspects of the new engine.

He seemed very passionate and knowledgeable. Not only would his stepping down be a great loss for the team, but would also bring up a great question mark about the state of the game. Is there any official info on if or why he parted ways with OLG?
