Weekly Build Discussion: Fina (2026-05-18)

Each week, we will choose a topic and open a weeklong discussion for building & theorycrafting. On most weeks, the chosen topic will be a playable character, but sometimes we may also discuss other types of gear that offer a meaningful decision space. You will be able to find a list of all past weekly discussions in the Subreddit Wiki.

Hi everyone, sorry for missing last week! This week we find ourselves at the Lumino Phoxhunter Summit, and there's a Lumino character who might play a significant role in some team comps: Fina! After losing both her parents to tragic circumstances, she was taken in by Outsider, who helped her experience the childhood she had missed, and start writing her own story. In-game, she boosts her allies' damage and plays with the elements to always hit the enemies where it hurts.

Roles: Support

Skills:

  • Bad Sorcerers Hate Sunlight! - Passive: Grants additional Lumino damage that lasts forever. Using On a Warm Afternoon or having an active field from Let the Tea Party Begin! grants a stacking buff that grants additional Lumino damage for a duration.

  • On a Warm Afternoon - Combat skill: Deal Lumino AoE damage in front of you and reduce the movement speed of any targets struck. While the field of Let the Tea Party Begin! is active, using this skill relocates that field to your current position, expands its range to match that field, and increases its damage.

  • Let the Tea Party Begin! - Ultimate: Create a special field in front of you. This field continuously comsumes your Sanity and ends when you run out of Sanity or when this skill is held. The field will be imbued with an element; all allies will deal an instance of damage in that element when the field appears or shifts. The field also periodically deals damage of the imbued element to enemies inside it. Using this skill again while the field is active cycles the imbued element in this order: Nightingale (Hydro), Hound (Pyro), Unicorn (Electro), Butterfly (Anemo).

Passive upgrades:

  • Skill Range +30%

  • Skill Duration +15%

  • Using On a Warm Afternoon increases all allies' damage based on the number of buff stacks from Bad Sorcerers Hate Sunlight!.

  • When deployed as a Combat Partner, increases Weapon Damage for self and allies proficient in Swords or Assault Rifles.

Introns:

  • Lv. 1: Allies buffed by the field from Let the Tea Party Begin! gain PEN for each type of additional damage effect they possess.

  • Lv. 2: Increase the maximum number of stacks for the buff from Bad Sorcerers Hate Sunlight!, and gain more stacks from your skills.

  • Lv. 3: On a Warm Afternoon Level +2; Bad Sorcerers Hate Sunlight! Level +1.

  • Lv. 4: The stacking buff from Bad Sorcerers Hate Sunlight! now also increases your Skill Intensity and Skill Range.

  • Lv. 5: Let the Tea Party Begin! Level +2; Bad Sorcerers Hate Sunlight! Level +1.

  • Lv. 6: While the field from Let the Tea Party Begin! is active, Fina gains bonus CRIT Chance on her weapon damage based on the amount of Bonus Effects the target is suffering, and the elemental type of the weapon damage is converted to the target's weakness type.

Some swear by the drinks she mixes. Others marvel at her way with people. And for many, it is the secrets around her that keep them coming back. Camilla is a woman shrouded in mystery. In-game, she summons floating blades to slice through any nearby foes, setting them up for explosive damage from her Pyro allies.

Roles: DPS, Support, Skill DMG

Camilla's kit revolves around summoning and manipulating Sommelier's Blades. When summoned, they orbit around Camilla, dealing damage to nearby enemies. They can also be launched and will return after a set distance, dealing damage to enemies along their path.

Skills:

  • Deadly Sip - Passive: Damage dealt by Sommelier's Blades inflicts a stacking debuff. Dealing Pyro damage to afflicted targets from sources other than Sommelier's Blades and Deadly Sip removes a stack of the debuff to deal an additional instance of Pyro damage.

  • Scarlet Banquet - Combat skill: Deal Pyro damage to nearby enemies, launch all Sommelier's Blades and gain a stacking buff. You can chain repeated casts of this skill, and all stacks of the buff expire when you stop chaining. For each stack of the buff, gain the following:

    • Skill Speed

    • Sommelier's Blades launch speed

    • Pause the duration of summoned Sommelier's Blades

    • Gain immunity to hitstun

  • Claret Waltz - Ultimate: Summon Sommelier's Blades for a set duration.

Passive upgrades:

  • ATK +50%

  • Skill Intensity +20%

  • Any character who removes stacks of the debuff from Deadly Sip gains a stacking buff, up to 20 stacks. When maximum stacks are reached, all stacks are removed to restore Sanity to that character.

  • When deployed as a Combat Partner, increase Morale for self and Pyro allies.

Introns:

  • Lv. 1: Damage dealt by Sommelier's Blades has a chance to inflict 1 additional stack of the debuff from Deadly Sip.

  • Lv. 2: While orbited by Sommelier's Blades, decrease Damage Taken and increase Damage Dealt.

  • Lv. 3: Scarlet Banquet Level +2; Deadly Sip Level +1.

  • Lv. 4: Increase the damage of the debuff from Deadly Sip and the launch speed of Sommelier's Blades.

  • Lv. 5: Claret Waltz Level +2; Deadly Sip Level +1.

  • Lv. 6: While orbited by Sommelier's Blades, gain PEN. Every time a stack of the debuff from Deadly Sip is removed, remove 1 additional stack.

She does not age. She does not die. No wound ever leaves a lasting mark on Lady Nifle. She is the ferrywoman who guides the souls of the departed on their destined return to the Misty Sea. In-game, she wields both the Lumino and Umbro elements, devastating hordes of foes in alternating flashes of light and dark.

Roles: DPS, Skill DMG

Skills:

  • Interwoven Cries - Passive: Casting Lunar Hunt has a chance to automatically spawn a Solar Eclipse, and vice versa, scaling with your ranged weapon's Trigger Probability. Lunar Hunts and Solar Eclipses spawned this way are not affected by Misty Sea Requiem.

  • Lunar Hunt - Combat skill: This cycles between Lunar Hunt and Solar Eclipse each time it's used:

    • Lunar Hunt: Deal AoE Umbro damage at a target location and reduce the movement speed of enemies hit.

    • Solar Eclipse: Deal AoE Lumino damage at a target location and reduce the ATK of enemies hit.

  • Misty Sea Requiem - Ultimate: Convert all Skill Range above 100% to Skill Intensity and enter an empowered state. This state ends after casting Lunar Hunt and/or Solar Eclipse 6 times. During this state:

    • Your ranged weapon gains a Trigger Probability boost

    • Lunar Hunt and Solar Eclipse cost no Sanity

    • Lunar Hunt pulls enemies hit towards its center

    • Solar Eclipse deals increased damage

Passive upgrades:

  • +50% ATK

  • +30% Skill Range

  • Lunar Hunt can trigger Umbro bonus effects, and Solar Eclipse can trigger Lumino bonus effects.

  • When deployed as a Combat Partner, increase ATK for self and Lumino allies.

Introns:

  • Lv. 1: Increase the chance of triggering the automatic spawns of Interwoven Cries.

  • Lv. 2: When Lunar Hunt deals damage, Solar Eclipse gains bonus damage against enemies hit, and vice versa.

  • Lv. 3: Lunar Hunt Level +2; Interwoven Cries Level +1.

  • Lv. 4: Increase your Healing Received and Sanity Recovery.

  • Lv. 5: Misty Sea Requiem Level +2; Interwoven Cries Level +1.

  • Lv. 6: Dealing damage using a ranged weapon has a chance to summon either Lunar Hunt or Solar Eclipse at the struck target's location.
