Hey,
my 2.0 TDI (Octavia III, 2019 model) with a 7-speed DSG transmission is having problems on the highway. As soon as the engine reaches operating temperature (95-100°C), the car no longer shifts smoothly from 7th to 6th gear when accelerating. This is particularly noticeable when accelerating from low revs. On the rev counter, the needle briefly stops roughly halfway between 1500 rpm (7th gear) and 2000 rpm (6th gear), then continues to move and finally settles at the actual revs. It feels as if the engine cuts out for a millisecond. There's a jolt through the car.
Below 90°C, the DSG shifts perfectly normally. I drive long distances almost every day, so I experience this problem daily.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or has anyone else experienced the same issue?
