I'm living in Europe, so USA is out of reach rn I guess but china, Japan (maybe Australia) is ok I guess.

I have this kind of keyboard with MX: https://shop.beekeeb.com/products/pre-soldered-sofle-rgb-mx?_pos=1&_fid=5d33ce6c1&_ss=c

I wanted to match the vibe of the ibm model m: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard

Any good recommendation? I have seen this one, but it misses some 1u keys for example another alt, a del and so on: https://keygem.com/products/mw-retro-lights?variant=43625995763980

It's been some time since I got an ergo (sofle) but I struggle to find keys mostly because two reasons (I guess):

  • I do not place my finger correctly, with some key row per finger and so on
  • I move it a lot (because I work from many place) so the placement is not always the same

So my first newbie question: any advice with these two problems? In a "plain" keyboard I always find the key but you know both part are pretty much attach to each other so my finger know were to go. But with the split I often miss some keys and need to replace both part each time and I struggle to find the right position.

Any post or video on how my finger need to be placed?

EDIT : For reference

I'm gonna change the desk because it's too high compared to my armchair. Also, I want to tent the keyboard I don't know if it's a good idea, but the position seems very nice when I tested ^^
