Question about tension issues: how much can be fixed by blocking?

Question about tension issues: how much can be fixed by blocking?

I am working on a tablecloth with a 5x5 motif grid. The pattern has you assemble in rows, then you attach each row before blocking. My tension was fairly consistent until I took a short break, and then I was holding tighter. I didn’t realize until motif 24.

Three of my rows are pretty comparable in length (left). The completed row made with tighter tension is a good 1.5” shorter than the others.

Since I noticed, I made a new motif and I am able to replicate my original tension, which coincidentally lays flatter, so I have a decent way to track myself going forward.

I figure I have two options: (A) remake the last two rows or (B) try blocking the already-made short rows to be the same size as the first three. I worry that if I go with option B, that the tablecloth will end up being lopsided. It’s already many hours of work, so while I don’t mind it having imperfections, I don’t want it to look wonky. Can blocking save me in this instance?

Thanks for your help!
