Just observational, how in the world is the level 2 charger cable for Tesla so flexible/small but yet the cable I have to install to get power to the tesla charger is as big as my arm has to pass through hard conduit and isn’t flexible at all?

What in the world are they using?

The logic of “oh the cable feeding the lvl 2 charger needs to be able to handle sustained power draw”, doesn’t really hold water because so does the cable running from the charger to the car also needs to sustain that same current.

I do random electrical work, low voltage, tech work, doing stupid stuff for myself and friends/family, like installing 220v outlets for EVs, wiring dishwashers, repairing light fixtures, installing fans, TVs etc. my to go “tool box” is a card board box. At home I have peg boards and a smaller toolbox, but if I go somewhere it’s a cardboard box or a bucket.

I’m looking at getting a Veto Tech Pac Blackout Build out or a Tech Pac MC Blackout. Right now they are running a special and you get a CB-LD bag for free which is a smaller bag.

What is your recommendation between the two bags and the panels? The price difference is marginal between the two.

I plan on carrying, my fluke meters, strippers, pliers of various sizes, small wrench set, screwdrivers, crimpers, socket set. It seems an impact would likely fit in the Tech Pac, fairly easily? Not sure about the MC.

Thoughts on if the larger size doesn’t become too bulky/heavy?
