Many metroidvania have small towns here and there with a few NPCs. What I loved about Phoenotopia's world is the big cities with many NPCs. Are there any metroidvanias like this?

I came across her early in the game, and I'm pretty sure it was in Atai. I've now gone up and down Atai City, but can't find her.
