I am 23, work in IT, sometimes wonder how people handle sudden job loss, especially in today’s market with layoffs, performance pressure, and constant upskilling.

For people who have gone through it (or think about it seriously):

What would be your immediate plan if you were fired tomorrow that may be related to performance ?

Would you start applying immediately, take a break, switch companies, or leave tech completely?

How much savings do you think is enough for peace of mind?

Did getting fired affect your confidence long term?
