Last week I commited to try my first team endurance event on iracing with the N24 race. A guy invited me to a discord server and it was pretty chaotic from the get go. We were a team of 4 drivers, one of them was the server owner. What happend:

Vibe coded website: The guy vibe coded a website with an AI generated stint planner, to the surprise of no one the thing didnt do its job at all
I fixed the stint plan but communication with the server owner was difficult and we didnt know if he was reliable
The two other guys which i didnt know either took over most of the first 12h which was fine by me (those guys were actually pretty great and i will race with them again)
Shortly after the timeslot 2 startet we saw that the server owner was racing at least 1 other N24 timeslot which we did not know about before
At ~00:20 AM CET i did a double stint after which the server owner would do a double stint and so on and so forth
The guy showed up when i entered the pits after my second stint, whatever that lost not that much time and i just wanted to have a good time racing
I told him that i will do a short nap and be back for my next double stint
at ~4:00 AM CET i joined the voicecomms and asked him how many laps he has left (2 laps left in his stint)
5 minutes later he tells me we have been disqualified for ignoring a black flag for pit lane speeding
apperently the guy speeded in the pits and didnt serve the penalty
I am not mad about the penalty itself, it happens.. But how could he just not aknowledge that he has to come in for the black flag?
As far as i know the black flag is displayed at all times on the screen and the spotter will give you warnings to come in for the black flag or you will face disqualification.
Anyway I was pretty bummed and went to bed
One of the other guys speculated that he may have done this on purpose so he can race in one of his other timeslot races, or he was just super tired.

TL;DR: Got recruited for N24 Discord on reddit. Owner vibecoded a website that didnt work. Owner was part of my team and did at least one other timeslot of N24. Owner drove a double stint (his 3rd in our timeslot over all) and ignored black flags for his pit lane speeding incident and we got disqualified on my first team endurance event.
