I’m 17 and I recently got a small indented acne scar on my cheek after a pimple healed. The indent isn’t super deep, but under certain lighting it’s noticeable and I’ve been trying to prevent it from getting worse.

Right now my routine is:
Gentle cleanser
Moisturizer
Sunscreen in the daytime
Azelaic acid (every night)

I wanted to ask:
Can newer shallow indents improve naturally over time?
Is azelaic acid enough for now or should I eventually try something else.
Are there any products or habits that actually helped your acne indents improve?

I’d appreciate any advice or experiences, especially from people who had mild indented scars that got better over time.
