Permanent PvE servers
I assume many people has heard that ABI is going to release PvE only servers next season and I'm all in favor for it. The PvP community believes it will break the core mechanic.
If PvP was the core mechanic, why was proximity chat added?
If PvP was the core mechanic, why does airport have an extraction that can only be used with an enemy player?
It will break the game, for who exactly? PvP players can still choose PvP, PvE players can now choose to play PvE. Who is getting side swiped?
"PvE players should just get better." I, who only get to play on weekends have to go head to head with someone who has mastered the game in a week? People who headshot you with hip fire 300m away? People who knows the exact range and recoil of every gun? I die witin 5 min but I'm suppose to learn, learn how to die? I for one, am slow to respond to gun fire and noise, I stutter when I aim, I play on a soundbar but that's a me problem.
"If you can't keep up then you shouldn't be playing" - Most PvP players.
In conclusion, the only people I've seen complaining about PvE servers, are cheaters and hardcore PvP players. Adding PvE won't just add a more relaxing version but will team PvP players with dedicated PvP players, you won't see people going in with a knife only. It will also reduce cheating.
"People will just enrich themselves." Dev said that the AI difficulty will be increased, more enemies at POI's, keys will not be transferrable, a PvE key can only be used on a PvE map, loot will be reduced. Who is getting disadvantaged by this?
Give me a reason why adding PvE servers will be bad?
