Recently I'm trying to re-use my ASUS gaming laptop, and my laptop has a very small storage which is 256, and I don't know why but it does not have any extra storages at all despite I don't have massive games. So I decided to upgrade it by a SSD, and I found out its quite expensive, also hard to insert the SSD by myself. Would an external SSD be a greater option? I guess I can compromise to 512GB for the budget, but if I consider that I should visit the shop to insert the internal SSD and pay extra, is external a wiser choice or the drawbacks of external SSD's are greater.
