I’m a ftm and my daughter is currently 18 months old. Recently we’ve moved house, we’re still in the same city as family and friends but just a new house. Since our move a month ago I’ve noticed more and more tantrums. I’ve written it off as adjusting to a new environment, however in the last week anytime I say anything to her she’s whining and/or crying. When this has been happening and it’s no tears just whining I’ve been having her go into her bedroom to calm down before coming back to whatever we were doing. She’s usually away for just a minute or two but now I’m wondering if it’s doing more harm than good. If I leave her in the situation there’s nothing that can be done to really calm her down and usually makes her crying worse. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated I’m just trying to do the best thing.
