I have recently started a little business selling things I make on ebay and etsy. Im still using my prusa MK3 about 5 hours a day for the past year and a half. I decided it was time to get a second printer. I found and MK3S+ on facebook for $150! The guy said its just clogged. I like to fix things on my days off so I bought it.
I brought it home and it wouldn't even accept filament. therre was frozen filament coming out of everything in the hot end even the cooling fins. There was an explosion. I took the hotend out and heated it up and manually cleaned everything while trying not to burn myself. I replaced the nozzle with a microswiss and now it is printing OK. all I need to do now is replace the y-axis linear bearings because there is some backlash. I think I got a good deal. These prusa printers are work horses and I expect these to outlast me.
