In this situation Tiptronic/paddle shifters saved me, I “downshifted” , boom got out of there. If I hesitated and hit the brakes , or took my sweet time , there’s a high probability Go bus hits me on the left or I hit the people on the right.
Secondly , don’t ever panic, hesitating , slamming brakes , even honestly slowing down in this situation is a million times worse than going pedal to the ground and getting out and around whatever object that could be obstructing your path. Look if I slowed down maybe the next car rams into me and a pile up begins with lives lost.
Learn the power and power band in your car , how long does it takes your car to accelerate from various speeds.
It will always be necessary to understand how much time , space and power you have. On highways everyone should be driving in manual mode (tiptronic) every automatic car has it. It’s a good habit to engine break , learn the sweet spots of what it’d take to get out of a situation. How much power you need to enter another lane, is your car even powerful enough to accelerate to the speed required to safely maneuver into the next lane with the speed that the other driver is approaching at behind.
Song is perfect for what you guys think I need. 🤣
Anyways it’s sped up if you can’t tell.
But look at these left lane hoggers
Branches hit my car (yall will say I deserved because I didn’t sit around on a turn)
